An Introduction to Authentic Barbecue Cooking
Caters to the backyard novice chef, and will be scheduled from 9AM-4PM on March 7.
Class guidelines: We have the most experienced pitmasters in the area coming to help conduct 4-5 classes throughout the day. They will be showcasing their favorite Low and Slow BBQ skills, how tos, recipies and BBQ tips. Get a 2009 jumpstart and cook like a pro at your next outdoor party.

15th Annual Arts, Crafts & Music Festival
Saturday & Sunday, April 11th and 12th (annual event)
Beautiful handmade crafts will be sold at the Casa de Sweets Pavilion. This FREE two-day event will feature pottery, leatherwork, wood crafts, stained glass, dolls and much, much more. There will be entertainment throughout the day. Come join the fun and stay for our other attractions. Great food and entertainment are always at Casa de Fruta.

Spring Wine Celebration
April 25 (annual event)
Back by popular demand! The original Wine Fest sponsored by the Wineries of Santa Clara Valley. You will enjoy tasting the fine award winning wines from more than 21 vintners. Admission includes the wine tasting, cheese & breadsticks, New York Steak, Pasta con Pesto, salad, garlic bread, dessert and coffee. You will also receive a complimentary souvenir glass. AKC Dog Agility Trials

Entrance is free. Bring a chair or blanket to sit and watch as hundreds of dogs run, jump, climb and weave at top speeds. Sponsored by the Santa Clara Dog Training Club.

Step back into time and take a living history lesson of what the war between the states must have been like. This is an authentic re-enactment with medical facilities, settlers encampments, military headquarters, cannons and lots of noise. A weekend you will not soon forget.

Gilroy Garlic Festival
